How To Uninstall tcl-funtools On Debian 7

To uninstall tcl-funtools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tcl-funtools

Minimal buy-in FITS library (Tcl interface)Debian 7.0interpreters1.4.4-3
sudo apt-get remove tcl-funtools

This will remove just the tcl-funtools package itself.

Uninstall tcl-funtools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tcl-funtools

This will remove the tcl-funtools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tcl-funtools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tcl-funtools

Or similarly, like this tcl-funtools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tcl-funtools
