How To Uninstall tcl-xpa On Debian 7

To uninstall tcl-xpa just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tcl-xpa

Seamless communication between Unix programs (Tcl interface)Debian 7.0interpreters2.1.14-2
sudo apt-get remove tcl-xpa

This will remove just the tcl-xpa package itself.

Uninstall tcl-xpa and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tcl-xpa

This will remove the tcl-xpa package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tcl-xpa then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tcl-xpa

Or similarly, like this tcl-xpa

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tcl-xpa
