How To Uninstall tclcl-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall tclcl-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tclcl-dev

transitional dummy package to libtclcl-devDebian 7.0libdevel1.20-6
sudo apt-get remove tclcl-dev

This will remove just the tclcl-dev package itself.

Uninstall tclcl-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tclcl-dev

This will remove the tclcl-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tclcl-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tclcl-dev

Or similarly, like this tclcl-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tclcl-dev
