How To Uninstall tclex On Debian 7

To uninstall tclex just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tclex

A lexical analyzer generator for TclDebian 7.0interpreters1.2a1-15
sudo apt-get remove tclex

This will remove just the tclex package itself.

Uninstall tclex and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tclex

This will remove the tclex package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tclex then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tclex

Or similarly, like this tclex

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tclex
