How To Uninstall tclgeoip On Debian 7

To uninstall tclgeoip just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tclgeoip

Tcl extension implementing GeoIP lookup functionsDebian 7.0interpreters0.2-1
sudo apt-get remove tclgeoip

This will remove just the tclgeoip package itself.

Uninstall tclgeoip and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tclgeoip

This will remove the tclgeoip package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tclgeoip then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tclgeoip

Or similarly, like this tclgeoip

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tclgeoip
