How To Uninstall tcllib On Debian 7

To uninstall tcllib just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tcllib

Standard Tcl LibraryDebian 7.0interpreters1.14-dfsg-3+deb7u1
sudo apt-get remove tcllib

This will remove just the tcllib package itself.

Uninstall tcllib and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tcllib

This will remove the tcllib package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tcllib then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tcllib

Or similarly, like this tcllib

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tcllib
