How To Uninstall tclxml On Debian 7

To uninstall tclxml just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tclxml

Tcl library for XML parsingDebian 7.0interpreters3.3~svn11-2
sudo apt-get remove tclxml

This will remove just the tclxml package itself.

Uninstall tclxml and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tclxml

This will remove the tclxml package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tclxml then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tclxml

Or similarly, like this tclxml

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tclxml
