How To Uninstall tcpreplay On Debian 7

To uninstall tcpreplay just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tcpreplay

Tool to replay saved tcpdump files at arbitrary speedsDebian 7.0net3.4.3-2+wheezy1
sudo apt-get remove tcpreplay

This will remove just the tcpreplay package itself.

Uninstall tcpreplay and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tcpreplay

This will remove the tcpreplay package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tcpreplay then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tcpreplay

Or similarly, like this tcpreplay

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tcpreplay
