How To Uninstall tcpser On Debian 7

To uninstall tcpser just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tcpser

emulate a Hayes compatible modemDebian 7.0net1.0rc12-1
sudo apt-get remove tcpser

This will remove just the tcpser package itself.

Uninstall tcpser and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tcpser

This will remove the tcpser package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tcpser then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tcpser

Or similarly, like this tcpser

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tcpser
