How To Uninstall tcptrack On Debian 7

To uninstall tcptrack just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tcptrack

TCP connection tracker, with states and speedsDebian 7.0net1.4.2-1
sudo apt-get remove tcptrack

This will remove just the tcptrack package itself.

Uninstall tcptrack and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tcptrack

This will remove the tcptrack package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tcptrack then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tcptrack

Or similarly, like this tcptrack

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tcptrack
