How To Uninstall tdb-tools On Debian 7

To uninstall tdb-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tdb-tools

Trivial Database - bundled binariesDebian 7.0utils1.2.10-2
sudo apt-get remove tdb-tools

This will remove just the tdb-tools package itself.

Uninstall tdb-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tdb-tools

This will remove the tdb-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tdb-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tdb-tools

Or similarly, like this tdb-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tdb-tools
