How To Uninstall tdsodbc On Debian 7

To uninstall tdsodbc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tdsodbc

ODBC driver for connecting to MS SQL and Sybase SQL serversDebian 7.0libs0.91-2+deb7u1
sudo apt-get remove tdsodbc

This will remove just the tdsodbc package itself.

Uninstall tdsodbc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tdsodbc

This will remove the tdsodbc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tdsodbc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tdsodbc

Or similarly, like this tdsodbc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tdsodbc
