How To Uninstall terminal.app On Debian 7

To uninstall terminal.app just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just terminal.app

Terminal Emulator for GNUstepDebian 7.0gnustep0.9.4+cvs20051125-6.1+b2
sudo apt-get remove terminal.app

This will remove just the terminal.app package itself.

Uninstall terminal.app and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove terminal.app

This will remove the terminal.app package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for terminal.app then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge terminal.app

Or similarly, like this terminal.app

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove terminal.app
