How To Uninstall testdisk-dbg On Debian 7

To uninstall testdisk-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just testdisk-dbg

Partition scanner and disk recovery toolDebian 7.0debug6.13-1
sudo apt-get remove testdisk-dbg

This will remove just the testdisk-dbg package itself.

Uninstall testdisk-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove testdisk-dbg

This will remove the testdisk-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for testdisk-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge testdisk-dbg

Or similarly, like this testdisk-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove testdisk-dbg
