How To Uninstall tgn On Debian 7

To uninstall tgn just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tgn

A command-line based network traffic generatorDebian 7.0net0.20-3
sudo apt-get remove tgn

This will remove just the tgn package itself.

Uninstall tgn and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tgn

This will remove the tgn package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tgn then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tgn

Or similarly, like this tgn

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tgn
