How To Uninstall tidy-proxy On Debian 7

To uninstall tidy-proxy just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tidy-proxy

small http proxy which tidies htmlDebian 7.0net0.97-4
sudo apt-get remove tidy-proxy

This will remove just the tidy-proxy package itself.

Uninstall tidy-proxy and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tidy-proxy

This will remove the tidy-proxy package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tidy-proxy then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tidy-proxy

Or similarly, like this tidy-proxy

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tidy-proxy
