How To Uninstall timelimit On Debian 7

To uninstall timelimit just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just timelimit

simple utility to limit a process's absolute execution timeDebian 7.0utils1.8-1
sudo apt-get remove timelimit

This will remove just the timelimit package itself.

Uninstall timelimit and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove timelimit

This will remove the timelimit package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for timelimit then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge timelimit

Or similarly, like this timelimit

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove timelimit
