How To Uninstall tinyproxy On Debian 7

To uninstall tinyproxy just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tinyproxy

A lightweight, non-caching, optionally anonymizing HTTP proxyDebian 7.0web1.8.3-3
sudo apt-get remove tinyproxy

This will remove just the tinyproxy package itself.

Uninstall tinyproxy and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tinyproxy

This will remove the tinyproxy package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tinyproxy then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tinyproxy

Or similarly, like this tinyproxy

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tinyproxy
