How To Uninstall tk2 On Debian 7

To uninstall tk2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tk2

Tk GUI for the ICOM IC-R2 receiverDebian 7.0hamradio1.1-9.1
sudo apt-get remove tk2

This will remove just the tk2 package itself.

Uninstall tk2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tk2

This will remove the tk2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tk2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tk2

Or similarly, like this tk2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tk2
