How To Uninstall tkabber-plugins On Debian 7

To uninstall tkabber-plugins just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tkabber-plugins

standard plugins for Tkabber, an XMPP (Jabber) clientDebian 7.0net0.11.1-1
sudo apt-get remove tkabber-plugins

This will remove just the tkabber-plugins package itself.

Uninstall tkabber-plugins and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tkabber-plugins

This will remove the tkabber-plugins package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tkabber-plugins then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tkabber-plugins

Or similarly, like this tkabber-plugins

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tkabber-plugins
