How To Uninstall tkdesk On Debian 7

To uninstall tkdesk just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tkdesk

Tk/tcl based X11 Desktop/File managerDebian 7.0x112.0-9.1
sudo apt-get remove tkdesk

This will remove just the tkdesk package itself.

Uninstall tkdesk and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tkdesk

This will remove the tkdesk package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tkdesk then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tkdesk

Or similarly, like this tkdesk

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tkdesk
