How To Uninstall tkinfo On Debian 7

To uninstall tkinfo just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tkinfo

Tcl/Tk Info browserDebian 7.0doc2.8-4
sudo apt-get remove tkinfo

This will remove just the tkinfo package itself.

Uninstall tkinfo and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tkinfo

This will remove the tkinfo package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tkinfo then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tkinfo

Or similarly, like this tkinfo

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tkinfo
