How To Uninstall tklib On Debian 7

To uninstall tklib just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tklib

standard Tk LibraryDebian 7.0interpreters0.5-3
sudo apt-get remove tklib

This will remove just the tklib package itself.

Uninstall tklib and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tklib

This will remove the tklib package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tklib then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tklib

Or similarly, like this tklib

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tklib
