How To Uninstall tkremind On Debian 7

To uninstall tkremind just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tkremind

Tk GUI interface to remindDebian 7.0utils03.01.12-1
sudo apt-get remove tkremind

This will remove just the tkremind package itself.

Uninstall tkremind and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tkremind

This will remove the tkremind package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tkremind then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tkremind

Or similarly, like this tkremind

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tkremind
