How To Uninstall toilet On Debian 7

To uninstall toilet just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just toilet

display large colourful characters in text modeDebian 7.0text0.3-1
sudo apt-get remove toilet

This will remove just the toilet package itself.

Uninstall toilet and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove toilet

This will remove the toilet package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for toilet then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge toilet

Or similarly, like this toilet

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove toilet
