How To Uninstall tokyocabinet-bin On Debian 7

To uninstall tokyocabinet-bin just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tokyocabinet-bin

Tokyo Cabinet Database UtilitiesDebian 7.0utils1.4.47-2
sudo apt-get remove tokyocabinet-bin

This will remove just the tokyocabinet-bin package itself.

Uninstall tokyocabinet-bin and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tokyocabinet-bin

This will remove the tokyocabinet-bin package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tokyocabinet-bin then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tokyocabinet-bin

Or similarly, like this tokyocabinet-bin

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tokyocabinet-bin
