How To Uninstall tokyotyrant-dbg On Debian 7

To uninstall tokyotyrant-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tokyotyrant-dbg

Tokyo Tyrant debugging symbolsDebian 7.0debug1.1.40-4.1+b1
sudo apt-get remove tokyotyrant-dbg

This will remove just the tokyotyrant-dbg package itself.

Uninstall tokyotyrant-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tokyotyrant-dbg

This will remove the tokyotyrant-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tokyotyrant-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tokyotyrant-dbg

Or similarly, like this tokyotyrant-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tokyotyrant-dbg
