How To Uninstall tomcat7-docs On Debian 7

To uninstall tomcat7-docs just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tomcat7-docs

Servlet and JSP engine -- documentationDebian 7.0doc7.0.28-4+deb7u4
sudo apt-get remove tomcat7-docs

This will remove just the tomcat7-docs package itself.

Uninstall tomcat7-docs and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tomcat7-docs

This will remove the tomcat7-docs package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tomcat7-docs then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tomcat7-docs

Or similarly, like this tomcat7-docs

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tomcat7-docs
