How To Uninstall tor-geoipdb On Debian 7

To uninstall tor-geoipdb just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tor-geoipdb

GeoIP database for TorDebian 7.0net0.2.4.27-1
sudo apt-get remove tor-geoipdb

This will remove just the tor-geoipdb package itself.

Uninstall tor-geoipdb and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tor-geoipdb

This will remove the tor-geoipdb package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tor-geoipdb then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tor-geoipdb

Or similarly, like this tor-geoipdb

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tor-geoipdb
