How To Uninstall torque-scheduler On Debian 7

To uninstall torque-scheduler just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just torque-scheduler

scheduler part of TorqueDebian 7.0net2.4.16+dfsg-1+deb7u4
sudo apt-get remove torque-scheduler

This will remove just the torque-scheduler package itself.

Uninstall torque-scheduler and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove torque-scheduler

This will remove the torque-scheduler package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for torque-scheduler then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge torque-scheduler

Or similarly, like this torque-scheduler

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove torque-scheduler
