How To Uninstall tortoisehg-nautilus On Debian 7

To uninstall tortoisehg-nautilus just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tortoisehg-nautilus

sudo apt-get remove tortoisehg-nautilus

This will remove just the tortoisehg-nautilus package itself.

Uninstall tortoisehg-nautilus and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tortoisehg-nautilus

This will remove the tortoisehg-nautilus package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tortoisehg-nautilus then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tortoisehg-nautilus

Or similarly, like this tortoisehg-nautilus

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tortoisehg-nautilus
