How To Uninstall tp-smapi-source On Debian 7

To uninstall tp-smapi-source just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tp-smapi-source

ThinkPad hardware/firmware access modules sourceDebian 7.0kernel0.41-1
sudo apt-get remove tp-smapi-source

This will remove just the tp-smapi-source package itself.

Uninstall tp-smapi-source and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tp-smapi-source

This will remove the tp-smapi-source package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tp-smapi-source then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tp-smapi-source

Or similarly, like this tp-smapi-source

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tp-smapi-source
