How To Uninstall tpm-tools On Debian 7

To uninstall tpm-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tpm-tools

Management tools for the TPM hardware (tools)Debian 7.0admin1.3.7-1
sudo apt-get remove tpm-tools

This will remove just the tpm-tools package itself.

Uninstall tpm-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tpm-tools

This will remove the tpm-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tpm-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tpm-tools

Or similarly, like this tpm-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tpm-tools
