How To Uninstall trafficserver-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall trafficserver-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just trafficserver-dev

Apache Traffic Server Software Developers Kit (SDK)Debian 7.0web3.0.5-1
sudo apt-get remove trafficserver-dev

This will remove just the trafficserver-dev package itself.

Uninstall trafficserver-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove trafficserver-dev

This will remove the trafficserver-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for trafficserver-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge trafficserver-dev

Or similarly, like this trafficserver-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove trafficserver-dev
