How To Uninstall trafficserver On Debian 7

To uninstall trafficserver just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just trafficserver

fast, scalable and extensible HTTP/1.1 compliant caching proxy serverDebian 7.0web3.0.5-1
sudo apt-get remove trafficserver

This will remove just the trafficserver package itself.

Uninstall trafficserver and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove trafficserver

This will remove the trafficserver package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for trafficserver then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge trafficserver

Or similarly, like this trafficserver

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove trafficserver
