How To Uninstall tre-agrep On Debian 7

To uninstall tre-agrep just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tre-agrep

approximate grep utility based on the tre libraryDebian 7.0text0.8.0-3
sudo apt-get remove tre-agrep

This will remove just the tre-agrep package itself.

Uninstall tre-agrep and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tre-agrep

This will remove the tre-agrep package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tre-agrep then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tre-agrep

Or similarly, like this tre-agrep

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tre-agrep
