How To Uninstall treil On Debian 7

To uninstall treil just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just treil

sudo apt-get remove treil

This will remove just the treil package itself.

Uninstall treil and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove treil

This will remove the treil package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for treil then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge treil

Or similarly, like this treil

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove treil
