How To Uninstall ttf-century-catalogue On Debian 7

To uninstall ttf-century-catalogue just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ttf-century-catalogue

transitional dummy packageDebian 7.0fonts001.001-5
sudo apt-get remove ttf-century-catalogue

This will remove just the ttf-century-catalogue package itself.

Uninstall ttf-century-catalogue and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ttf-century-catalogue

This will remove the ttf-century-catalogue package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ttf-century-catalogue then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ttf-century-catalogue

Or similarly, like this ttf-century-catalogue

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ttf-century-catalogue
