How To Uninstall ttf-engadget On Debian 7

To uninstall ttf-engadget just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ttf-engadget

Modern font from John StrackeDebian 7.0fonts1.001-1-1
sudo apt-get remove ttf-engadget

This will remove just the ttf-engadget package itself.

Uninstall ttf-engadget and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ttf-engadget

This will remove the ttf-engadget package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ttf-engadget then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ttf-engadget

Or similarly, like this ttf-engadget

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ttf-engadget
