How To Uninstall ttf-kochi-gothic On Debian 7

To uninstall ttf-kochi-gothic just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ttf-kochi-gothic

Kochi Subst Gothic Japanese TrueType font without naga10Debian 7.0fonts20030809-15
sudo apt-get remove ttf-kochi-gothic

This will remove just the ttf-kochi-gothic package itself.

Uninstall ttf-kochi-gothic and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ttf-kochi-gothic

This will remove the ttf-kochi-gothic package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ttf-kochi-gothic then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ttf-kochi-gothic

Or similarly, like this ttf-kochi-gothic

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ttf-kochi-gothic
