How To Uninstall tty-clock On Debian 7

To uninstall tty-clock just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tty-clock

simple terminal clockDebian 7.0utils1.1-1
sudo apt-get remove tty-clock

This will remove just the tty-clock package itself.

Uninstall tty-clock and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tty-clock

This will remove the tty-clock package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tty-clock then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tty-clock

Or similarly, like this tty-clock

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tty-clock
