How To Uninstall ttysnoop On Debian 7

To uninstall ttysnoop just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ttysnoop

allows you to spy on telnet+serial connectionsDebian 7.0admin0.12d-5
sudo apt-get remove ttysnoop

This will remove just the ttysnoop package itself.

Uninstall ttysnoop and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ttysnoop

This will remove the ttysnoop package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ttysnoop then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ttysnoop

Or similarly, like this ttysnoop

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ttysnoop
