How To Uninstall tuxcmd-modules On Debian 7

To uninstall tuxcmd-modules just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tuxcmd-modules

VFS modules for tuxcmd file managerDebian 7.0utils0.6.70+ds-4
sudo apt-get remove tuxcmd-modules

This will remove just the tuxcmd-modules package itself.

Uninstall tuxcmd-modules and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tuxcmd-modules

This will remove the tuxcmd-modules package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tuxcmd-modules then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tuxcmd-modules

Or similarly, like this tuxcmd-modules

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tuxcmd-modules
