How To Uninstall tuxpaint-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall tuxpaint-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tuxpaint-dev

Development files for Tux PaintDebian 7.0devel1:0.9.21-1.1
sudo apt-get remove tuxpaint-dev

This will remove just the tuxpaint-dev package itself.

Uninstall tuxpaint-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tuxpaint-dev

This will remove the tuxpaint-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tuxpaint-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tuxpaint-dev

Or similarly, like this tuxpaint-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tuxpaint-dev
