How To Uninstall tuxpaint-stamps-default On Debian 7

To uninstall tuxpaint-stamps-default just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tuxpaint-stamps-default

Stamp files for Tux Paint, a paint program for childrenDebian 7.0graphics2009.06.28-1
sudo apt-get remove tuxpaint-stamps-default

This will remove just the tuxpaint-stamps-default package itself.

Uninstall tuxpaint-stamps-default and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tuxpaint-stamps-default

This will remove the tuxpaint-stamps-default package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tuxpaint-stamps-default then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tuxpaint-stamps-default

Or similarly, like this tuxpaint-stamps-default

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tuxpaint-stamps-default
