How To Uninstall twm On Debian 7

To uninstall twm just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just twm

Tab window managerDebian 7.0x111:1.0.6-1
sudo apt-get remove twm

This will remove just the twm package itself.

Uninstall twm and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove twm

This will remove the twm package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for twm then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge twm

Or similarly, like this twm

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove twm
