How To Uninstall twolame On Debian 7

To uninstall twolame just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just twolame

MPEG Audio Layer 2 encoder (command line frontend)Debian 7.0sound0.3.13-1
sudo apt-get remove twolame

This will remove just the twolame package itself.

Uninstall twolame and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove twolame

This will remove the twolame package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for twolame then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge twolame

Or similarly, like this twolame

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove twolame
