How To Uninstall txt2regex On Debian 7

To uninstall txt2regex just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just txt2regex

A Regular Expression "wizard", all written with bash2 builtinsDebian 7.0utils0.8-4
sudo apt-get remove txt2regex

This will remove just the txt2regex package itself.

Uninstall txt2regex and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove txt2regex

This will remove the txt2regex package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for txt2regex then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge txt2regex

Or similarly, like this txt2regex

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove txt2regex
