How To Uninstall txtreader On Debian 7

To uninstall txtreader just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just txtreader

text viewer, mainly used for reading novelsDebian 7.0text0.6.5-1
sudo apt-get remove txtreader

This will remove just the txtreader package itself.

Uninstall txtreader and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove txtreader

This will remove the txtreader package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for txtreader then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge txtreader

Or similarly, like this txtreader

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove txtreader
