How To Uninstall tangerine-icon-theme On Debian 7

To uninstall tangerine-icon-theme just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tangerine-icon-theme

Tangerine Icon themeDebian 7.0non-free/x110.26.debian-3
sudo apt-get remove tangerine-icon-theme

This will remove just the tangerine-icon-theme package itself.

Uninstall tangerine-icon-theme and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tangerine-icon-theme

This will remove the tangerine-icon-theme package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tangerine-icon-theme then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tangerine-icon-theme

Or similarly, like this tangerine-icon-theme

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tangerine-icon-theme
